EMU approves 13.5 percent increase, Oakland considers 15 percent

Oakland University, the only school that has not set tuition for fall 2005, is expected to adopt a 15.2 percent increase during its trustees meeting Wednesday afternoon. Eastern Michigan University increased its amount of financial aid available to students by $1.7 million to help offset its 13.5 percent tuition increase. Wayne State's 18.5 percent tuition increase is noted in the story.
